Hatanodai Campus

The Hatanodai Campus, located near the center of Tokyo, is where the university was founded and plays a central role in education and research. Students from the schools of medicine and pharmacy spend their 2nd-6th years on this campus, while students from the school of dentistry spend their 2nd-4th years here. In the Showa University Hospital and the Showa University Hospital East Branch, which are located within walking distance of Hatanodai Campus, students undertake clinical clerkships. This means that students from all four schools can experience bed-side training and clinical practice in our own hospitals that are conveniently located.
