Well-balanced collaboration of each subspeciality and high evaluation of achievements both domestically and internationally.
Taking advantage of Showa University being a comprehensive medical university, research activities involving collaboration of the 4 schools of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing and rehabilitation sciences is actively being carried out. The achievement of the collaborative research by professors and research staff of each school and graduate schools attracts the attention of both domestic and overseas medical societies and also contributes to the daily development of medicine by establishing new therapies and to the development and clinical application of new pharmaceutical agents.
